Author, psychoeducator, trainer, presenter, poet.
Karly Randolph Pitman is a writer, facilitator, contemplative, trainer and poet who helps people heal from food suffering. She offers books and courses, group classes and workshops, and presentations and trainings to bring insight, compassion, and understanding to food compulsions like sugar addiction, overeating, and binge eating.
She's passionate about helping people develop a kinder, less judgmental and less shameful relationship with their struggles. And she's equally passionate about sharing this non-pathologizing approach to suffering with a wide variety of audiences.
Karly writes a reader supported poetry newsletter, O Nobly Born, to nurture a kinder world, and offers writing and mindfulness workshops to nurture self discovery, self awareness and self compassion. Undergirding all her work is compassion for the human experience, dignity for our vulnerabilities, and a desire to support our becoming. She lives in Austin, Texas with her family and beautiful oak trees.
When Food is Your Mother mini course
In this four part email course, you’ll learn why we bond with food: how food becomes a refuge when we’re overwhelmed by stress, fear or pain. With this insight, we feel greater compassion and awareness for the ways we’ve gotten stuck in food. And with this understanding, the way out of painful ‘food stuff’ becomes more doable, and clear.
